The Cryptocurrency Regulatory Authority (VARA) will interact on all four days of the event, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss regulatory priorities and ensure the acceptance and adoption of cryptocurrencies as a legitimate innovation that serves all investors and technology users.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is poised to become a global hub for cryptocurrencies as its market capitalization reaches $1.4 trillion, up 86% year-to-date.
Dubai announced a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies and a new regulatory body, the Dubai Cryptocurrency Authority (VARA), was created as the first regulatory authority to have a presence in the metaverse.
Dubai World Trade Center Authority is now a comprehensive zone and regulator of cryptocurrencies, products, operators and exchange.
